Hair straightening brushes are having a moment right now, and ghd have decided to get in on the action by launching the new Glide. So how does it work? Designed to be used on dry hair, it’s supposed to smooth frizz and give a straighter overall finish. The styling brush has ceramic teeth that heat up to 185C, they catch the hair; smoothing and taming frizz as you pass the brush through your lengths. Retailing at £125, the Glide is certainly not cheap, but compared to other ghd stylers (that retail between £139 and £175) it's not quite as pricey.
So does it actually work? We put it to the test on three different hair types and here’s what we thought…
