Swiggy deliveries move beyond food. The Naspers-backed food ordering and delivery platform has now forayed into hyperlocal deliveries by launching Swiggy Stores, said the company on Tuesday.

The new service, which will be part of the Swiggy app, entails on-demand deliveries across categories such as fresh produce, groceries and other essentials. Currently being piloted in Gurgaon, the service is expected to hit the top metros in the next few months.
