New revelations into the Rafale deal have raised some serious questions about the process followed by the Modi government. A report in the Hindu cited an internal note written by defence ministry officials in 2015 protesting against "parallel negotiations" between the Prime Minister's Office and the French government over the purchase of the fighter jets.
