Historic 2-1 Series Win for India vs Australia: India scripted history in Australia as they registered their first-ever Test Series victory Down Under. After winning the first Test at the Adelaide Oval, and losing the second match at the Perth, the Indian team bounced back hard to take an unassailable lead in the third game at Melbourne. The Sydney Test ended in a stalemate after consistent rain played spoilsport. India won the 4-match Test series 2-1, and would now be eyeing the upcoming ODI-leg starting January 18.
