Vietnamese dish of fresh sandworms causes quite the stir

This Vietnamese dish consists of freshly cooked sandworms and is not for the squeamish.

Before the worms are boiled they are presented in bowl where they are free to wriggle around.

The wriggling invertebrates are caught by fishermen when the tide rises, causing the worms to float to the water's surface.

A kilo of fresh sandworm is priced at around $25.

This video was captured in Hai Duong City, northern Vietnam.
