In a symbolic & extremely significant move, Priyanka Gandhi today accompanied Robert Vadra to the ED office where he appeared for questioning. After dropping-off Vadra, Priyanka went to cong headquarters where she reportedly said that she supports her husband. Remember, this is Vadra's first appearance before the ED. Priyanka Gandhi accompanying Vadra is extremely politically significant as it came just hours after the BJP mounted fresh offensive on her husband. In a press meet, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra slammed Vadra for receiving several kickbacks worth thousands of crores of rupees from which he ended up buying dozens of properties, including in Delhi, London and Dubai. Vadra was also accused of having a hand in the Agusta Westland deal. Remember, Vadra has been given interim protection from arrest by the court but had been asked to join the ED probe.
