Hot Tisca Chopra's Character Sketch

Bollywood actress Tisca Chopra was born in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, in a Punjabi family of educationists. After finishing her school and college, the actress moved to Mumbai and started taking training sessions in acting, from notable theater artists Feroz Abbas Khan and Naseeruddin Shah.
The prolific diva, marked her B-town debut with the movie Platform in 1993, and was cast opposite Ajay Devgan. Tisca Chopra may not be a new face in the film industry. But Taare Zameen Par did give her a new lease of life. Playing mother to a dyslexic child not only got her wide acclaim for her performance, but also put her in the league of talented actors.
She is a glamorous actress who could have easily made a mark in mainstream Bollywood films, But Tisca Chopra has opted for a different career path. Not someone who believes in running on the same treadmill as many her contemporaries do, she has chosen meaningful roles that have come her way.
In 2011, Tisca Chopra was nominated at the Indian Film Festival of New York in the best actress category. She received this nomination for her work in 10ml Love. She was nominated alongside other industry acting aces like Shabana Azmi, Neetu Singh and Konkana Sen Sharma.
Tisca's vibrant personality and her burning passion to excel is evident in the choices she has made in her life and work. She is known for her unconventional roles and has chosen to be part of stories that she feels need to be told.
Tisca, who is practising Buddhism, said she consciously tries not to get involved in praise or criticism.
