1 Lord Shiva’s temple in Pakistan is called Katasraj, which is located in the chakwal district


2 It is believed that this temple has existed since the time of Mahabharata


3 Legend state that Lord Krishna himself laid its foundation and established his handmade Shiv Ling in it.


4. The Pandavas stayed here for about four years during their thirteen years of exile.


5 The tears of Lord Shiva which fall on earth when he lost his wife Sati, formed a lake near this temple.



6. This lake is hence considered to be very sacred and also the water in it holds magical powers.
