Lighting up the Lunar New Year

A symphony of lights took place in Xi'an, capital of northwest China’s Shaanxi Province, to celebrate the start of Chinese New Year. Known as the Xiaonian Festival, it takes place on the 23rd day of the last lunar month leading up to Spring Festival. The light show will end after the Chinese New Year.
