Which School Backpack Can Handle the Most Destruction?
As we enter “back to school” season, parents are rushing out to buy new supplies for their children. One of the most important things is the backpack. This week, our editor-at-large, Joshua David Stein, reviews the best back-to-school backpacks, those that will last through all sorts of destruction attempts by your kid this upcoming school year.

We do the work for you, and we review three popular-at-the-moment backpacks to find the best purchase. Each one of the backpacks goes through hard-core testing, including an on-and-off durability test (as we know, our kids like to throw bags around), dirt testing, and a cramming test, to see the amount of weight it can hold and how much you are able to cram inside the bag.

The first backpack is the Twelve Little Adventure Backpack, priced at $55, it contains reversible sequin patches, adjustable straps, multiple pockets, and is water-resistant. This backpack passed all three of our durability tests.

Next up was the Skip Hop Zoo Eureka Unicorn, priced at $20. The bag has an insulated pouch for snacks, padded adjustable straps, and a roomy main compartment. Finally, the Fashion Angels Magic Sequin Backpack, priced at $40, has dazzling sequins that change colors with a swipe of the hand, padded shoulder straps, and an inside laptop sleeve.

Watch and find out which backpack is resistant to every possible horrible thing your kid can do to it — and still comes at an affordable price. It will last several years, and you won’t have to worry about back-to-school shopping again.
