Theresa May departs Downing St ahead of Brexit debate

Theresa May has departed Downing Street as she is set to open a debate today around key Brexit amendments in the Commons ahead of MPs voting on the conditions under which the UK will leave the EU. Ahead of the debate the Prime Minister told Cabinet she is ready to reopen the Withdrawal Agreement to seek legally-binding changes to the backstop, in the hope of winning the support of Parliament for her Brexit deal.
