Violence flared between Millwall and Everton fans over the weekend as mass brawls result in "some of the most shocking football violence seen for some time," according to Scotland Yard.

The Millwall versus Everton FA Cup match on Saturday (which Millwall won 3-2) saw dozens of both sides' fans clashing, resulting in one Everton fan receiving an enormous facial wound after being slashed with a knife.

Police are investigating the incident.
