The stars were shining, quite literally, tonight at the silver anniversary of the SAG-AFTRA Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. Actors honored their own for the year's best performances in film and television. And a Lifetime Achievement award was presented to Alan Alda, the first person ever to win an Emmy award for acting, writing and directing. Tom Hanks did the honors with a moving tribute.
