Mist cloaks Cumbria's Eden Valley in beautiful winter scene

Stunning wintery views over the cloud inversion in the Eden Valley looking west to the Northern Lakeland Fells of Blencathra and Skiddaw covered in snow, captured from the North Pennines near the small village of Knock in Cumbria, northwest England.

Also seen here is a cloud inversion time-lapse captured from the snowy North Pennines above of Knock at sunset covering most of the Eden Valley, with clear views across to the snow-covered Lake District Fells in the distance.

Both scenes were captured on Wednesday afternoon (January 23).

"It really was an incredible sight to witness especially when the sun peeped out through the clouds to highlight the cloud inversion and the trees in the foreground," said the filmer.
