Naanum Rowdy Dhaan Tamil Movie stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayantara in the lead roles. Parthiban, Raadhika and RJ Balaji play supporting roles. Directed by Vignesh Shivan and produced by Dhanush, the music is by Anirudh Ravichander.

Pandi (Vijay Sethupathi) aspires to be a rowdy despite being the son of a cop (Raadhika). He fakes the behaviour and acts of a ruffian though no one is taken in by it. With the arrival of Kadambari (Nayantara) in his life, it seems like Pandi would soon get to fulfill his ambition. Kadambari is a hearing impaired girl, could lip read and in search of her missing father (Azhagam Perumal). And as the duo get drawn towards each other Kadambari sets a condition for Pandi. That she could be his if he could help her execute Killivalavan (Parthiban) a gangster who had wronged her family. What follows forms the crux of the story.
