Set in the 1980s, Nedunchalai Movie stars Aari as a petty thief who steals from running lorries in highway. Sshivada runs a dhaba in highway with Thambi Ramaiah. Prashant Narayanan is a police officer who lusts after Sshivada. Sshivada tries to avoid Prashant Narayanan but he files a false case against her. Aari saves her from the case leading her to fall in love with him. Prashant Narayanan wants to avenge Aari for the same. The enmity between Aari and Prashant Narayanan worsens resulting in a tragic climax.
Nedunchalai Songs are composed by C.Sathya. Nedunchalai Songs Thamirabarani became a chartbuster as did the Ivan Yaaro Song.
