In Lankaa Tamil Movie, Suresh Gopi played the role of an Indian Navy captain fighting in Srilanka. Post operations, he decides to live in Srilanka. Suresh Gopi is a womaniser who has affairs with multiple women with or without their consent. Suresh Gopi is stinking rich who owns number of bungalows in Srilanka. However as a child, his mother abandoned him and his wife left him for another man. This creates a psychic problem in him.

In his beach house, he notices Mamta Mohandas in the beach coming out of the beach. Mamta Mohandas is a gypsy who has lost all her family. Suresh Gopi harasses her but ends up marrying her unaware of teh fact that she is from LTTE on a mission to him. However the attempt only leaves Suresh Gopi incapacitated and confined to bed. Mamta Mohandas nurses him back to health but she has a different motive this time.
