Singakutty stars Shivaji Dev as a college student. Shivaji Dev falls in love with Gowri Munjal. Gowri Munjal is the daughter of a rich business man Avinash. Shivaji Dev's mother Saranya Ponvannan wants to make her son a police officer. Avinash agrees to get Gowri Munjal married to Shivaji Dev. Suddenly Saranya Ponvannan, Gowri Munjal and Shivaji Dev's sister are kidnapped by an unknown person. Shivaji Dev is blackmailed by the stranger to follow his instructions if he wants to see Gowri Munjal, Saranya Ponvannan and his sister alive. Soon he gets entangled in a web of conceited deceits unknowingly. How Shivaji Dev saves himself and his family forms the crux of the story.
