Saravanan dons a dual role as father and son in this film. Saravanan is a sincere and a kind police officer who is a strict jailer too. His father (Saravanan in dual role) was a forest officer. He has two wives, and the fact that one of them is Saravanan's biological mother is a secret kept till the climax. The inmates of the jail include Prithviraj, Sriman and Yugendran who have an aversion towards women due to a bad experience, and the reason for which they were jailed. The rest of the movie is about how Saravanan proves to them that not all women are bad.
