Direction : SP. Muthuraman Music: Shankar Ganesh Thiyagu is a story of man who is addicted to alcoholism. Raghuvaran who is brought up in a traditional brahmin family lives with his father, mother and sister. Sreenivasan's furious behaviour disturbs his mind and after losing his mother and sister one day he leaves his home with all unwanted relationships and addiction to drinking. One day he meets Nizhalgal Ravi his school days' friend and consults a Psychiatrist as per his advice. One he gets cured and Nizhalgal Ravi leaves for Philippines. Again Raghuvaran starts drinking due to compulsion while attending Dilip's Birthday party. Finally how Raghuvaran comes out of his alcoholic addiction for a happy life forms the rest of the story
