Folly of man who ‘hiked lift’ on chopper carrying Juma’s body, falls mid-air

A man has sustained serious injuries after falling off a helicopter that was transporting the body of slain businessman Jacob Juma in Bungoma.
The boda boda rider is said to have hanged onto the helicopter’s rails as it took off when he fell off after a short distance.
The man sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to hospital.
Juma’s body was first taken to Masinde Muliro University from Nairobi before it was viewed at the Approved School and later transported to his Mung’ore village for the burial slated for Saturday.
Western Regional Police commander Moses Nyakwama has told Capital News beat that there will be tight security at the burial to ensure there is no chaos.
