Take details on Juma’s death to cops, not funerals – DP Ruto
  • 5 years ago
Deputy President William Ruto has called on anyone with information on the murder of businessman Jacob Juma to share it with investigation agencies for the sake of justice.

“Whoever has information on the killing of businessman Jacob Juma should take it to the police and not his funeral,” said Ruto.

The Deputy President said it was unfortunate that some Opposition leaders are using the murder of Juma to drive a political agenda.

The Deputy President said there was no difference between those who commit crime and those who use the unfortunate situation of the crime to their advantage.

“There is no difference between those who commit crime and those who make wild allegations without assisting the police,” he said.

Ruto said if Opposition leaders are sincere about their quest for justice they should stop politicking in funerals and share the information they have with law enforcement agencies.

He made the remarks at Bishop Makorios Boys Secondary School in Aldai constituency, Nandi County, where he handed the institution a school bus and later laid a foundation stone for Aldai Boys Secondary School.
