Kidero trains guns on lawyer Ahmednasir in Tunoi bribery saga

Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero on Tuesday appeared before the special committee of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) investigating allegations that he paid Supreme Court Justice Philip Tunoi Sh200 million to sway an election petition in his favour.
After appearing before the committee, Kidero told waiting reporters that he had no need to bribe Tunoi as he had a very strong case.

He also again denied having had any personal interaction with Tunoi or their accuser Geoffrey Kiplagat.

“Whether it was one shilling or 300 million shillings, I did not pay any bribe.”
