National Treasury Cabinet Secretary, Henry Rotich was on Monday questioned by National Assembly, over the economic crisis in the country.

The CS appeared before the Public Accounts Committee members to explain the controversy, surrounding the tough economic times said to have been caused by over-borrowing.

Also questioned by the PAC members is the Controller of Budget, who was required to clarify her earlier statement on the Eurobond expenditure and status.

While the Opposition is questioning how the Eurobond was spent, the government insists, that there is no money lost, while assuring that the crisis witnessed in the country will normalize in the coming weeks.
