Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko on Thursday approved the prosecution of Garissa Governor Nathif Jama Adan over the irregular leasing of ambulance services.
DPP Keriako Tobiko agreed with the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission that there was sufficient evidence to sustain the charges against Governor Jama and seven other officials.

“Having independently reviewed the file, I agree with EACC that there is sufficient evidence disclosed against the Governor and other country officials and therefore directed that prosecutions should ensue as recommended by EACC,” Tobiko directed.
