Premier League footballer Emiliano Sala sent an message to friends before his flight vanished from radar while he was travelling from the French city of Nantes to the Welsh capital Cardiff on January 21, 2019. Rescuers have suspended their search for the plane which went missing over the English Channel on Monday evening. The Argentine striker had signed with Cardiff City over the weekend and was going back for training with his new team. Sala’s audio message voiced concerns about the light aircraft before it went missing.
