White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders marked the two-year anniversary of President Trump’s inauguration by commenting on the strength of the country.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday tweeted about President Trump's second anniversary in office, by commenting on the strength of the country. "Two years in President @realDonaldTrump has ignited a booming economy with rising wages and historically low unemployment, particularly among African Americans & Hispanics, remade our judiciary, and rebuilt our military," she said in a tweet. "Our country has never been stronger." Marking the second anniversary of Trump's presidency on Sunday, the White House released a detailed statement on the matter, touting policies that are "unleashing economic growth and providing opportunities to workers across the country." The statement comes as the partial government shutdown, now the longest in US history, continues with no end in sight.
Hundreds of thousands of government workers aren't getting paid, and Trump remains dedicated to continuing the shutdown until he is granted $5.7 billion to build the border wall.
