Trump Gets Mocked For Touting A Wall Around San Antonio

President Trump confused quite a few people by talking about a San Antonio wall.

President Trump is getting mocked online for touting a wall around San Antonio as he tried to defend his demand for border wall funding amid the partial government shutdown.
"Everybody knows that walls work. You look at different places, they put up a wall--no problem. You look at San Antonio," Trump told reporters on Saturday morning. "You look at so many different places. They go from one of the most unsafe cities in the country to one of the safest cities immediately...It works. We have to put them up and we will put them up. We've got to."
Confused social media users quickly questioned Trump's assertion, with one person pointing out: "Trump talking about San Antonio becoming a safer city after building a wall. San Antonio doesn't have a wall. San Antonio is not a border city."
And someone else referenced a popular San Antonio attraction, writing: "Did @realDonaldTrump just say San Antonio had a #wall that worked!? Did he mean the #RiverWalk? I'm confused."
Meanwhile, another person tweeted dryly: "@realDonaldTrump just said that when they built the wall around San Antonio it became one of the safest cities in America. I'm on my way to San Antonio right now and I will be reporting back on the status of said wall."
Despite the record-long shutdown affecting around 800,000 federal workers, Trump is not expected to back down from his demand for the border wall.
