According to a report by Reuters, on Wednesday, two US troops, one Defense Department civilian and a contractor supporting the US military in Syria were killed in an apparent suicide bomb attack in the city of Manbij. The US military Central Command said that an additional three troops were injured in the incident. A statement from Central Command simply reads, “Initial reports indicate an explosion caused the casualties, and the incident is under investigation."
