There Are More Women Entrepreneurs Now, But The Reason Is Bad

According to calculations published by Business Insider, every day in the U.S., women start about 849 new businesses.
This number means that within the past 20 years, the number of women-owned American firms has increased 114%.
Although the numbers sound good, the reason behind them may not be all rosy.
A 2017 National Women's Business Council report calls the trend "necessity entrepreneurship.
