Animal Rescues Are For The Birds

When Jackdaws are in trouble, who do you call? Oh wait, maybe we should back up. Jackdaw are birds. And when they're in trouble, who do you call? Tiernotruf! They're an animal rescue service. In order to rescue the bird that had fallen into an air duct, they had to drill into the walls of the home.

Speaking of bird rescues, a spotted owl in India had become trapped in its own nest because of some loose manja (or kite string). Some local kids aided Animal Warriors India in the rescue effort. Fortunately, the owl didn't suffer any serious injuries and was able to return to the wild.
