Gigantic 'pig king' crowned in China in run up to Chinese Year of the Pig

A nine-year-old pig who weighs over 900kg was crowned ‘pig king’ at a contest to celebrate Chinese New Year.
The incredible video, shot in Meishan City in Sichuan Province on January 8, shows 24 men carrying a cage holding the giant pig during a parade for a CCTV agriculture program.
Then they place the pig on one side of a balance scale and eleven adults humans stand on the other side of it together to weigh.
It is the heaviest pig in Renshou County, and the owner said he would not slaughter the pig until it dies naturally, and would instead give its body to the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences to do research.
