Fortunately, two superheroes, Ant-Man and Wasp, have come to allay fears. In almost every way, Ant-Man and the Wasp is the most family-friendly Marvel movie ever, combining lighter elements that make it more akin to Incredibles 2 than to Infinity War.
One of the reasons why Ant-Man and the Wasp is so good for families is because there are good families in the movie. Ant-Man’s whole motivation is being a good father and doing what’s great for his daughter, Cathy.
Another reason why Ant-Man and the Wasp is good is that the scale of the film is relatively small compared to other Marvel franchises. It is only two hours long, and the plot is pretty simple: The story is basically just about getting back a stolen laboratory.
