The U.S. Department of Agriculture has extended the deadline for farmers hurt by trade wars to apply for aid payments.
Reuters reports the deadline was originally set for January 15th, 2019.
However, the agency now says the deadline will be delayed for the number of days that USDA offices are closed.
In 2018, the government pledged up to $12 billion in aid to help farmers offset some of their losses for crops.
