The New Jersey pop star’s breakup anthem, “Without Me,” reached No. 1 this week, becoming Halsey’s first solo No. 1 hit on the Hot 100 chart. She previously topped the charts as a featured artist on The Chainsmokers‘ 2016 smash “Closer.”
