Kliff Kingsbury May Pay His Own Buyout At USC

According to Deadspin, USC’s offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury may resign from his own position. After six seasons as Texas Tech’s head coach, Kingsbury is being looked at to fill in NFL head-coaching vacancies. Yet USC Athletic Director Lynn Swann has blocked teams from interviewing Kingsbury. Even if a team could afford Kingsbury’s low buyout in his contract, they need permission from Swann.
