How I make money on Reddit without a job is to create content around a topic. This includes a video, article and podcast.
Then take that content and post it into the specific subreddit that is highly targeted to it. This adds value to the community and gets traffic to my content, which is good for that.
You can also include a short teaser, so people want to click on your content. Sometimes you can't include a link, but you can highlight text in your post and create a link that way. It actually took me a while to figure that out.
Plus when they view my video, article they then can click on the website in there and that is how I build a relationship with the person.
Eventually I will mention a product – I highly believe in and if they purchase it, I will make money.
How do you know if what you are posting is spam? If what you are posting ads value then I don't consider it spam. If what you are posting does not add value then that is spam.
With Reddit people can up vote your content and that means it goes to the top of the page. They can also down vote your content and that goes to the bottom and can be seen less.
How do you get more up votes you may ask?
The harder you work the luckier you get. The community decides not you. This is what I do in Reddit.
How do you find subreddits? I used to use a website called metareddit, but unfortunately it shut down.
Now, I find the easiest way is to use a thesaurus and type similar words into the search bar and it will give me suggestions.
