Brexit uncertainty a concern for NHS says Nuffield Trust CEO

The Chief Executive of the Nuffield Trust has raised concerns over Theresa May's 10-year NHS plan, particularly against the backdrop of a possible no-deal Brexit. Nigel Edwards warned of the potential impact of a no-deal Brexit on the value of the pound and the status of EU citizens working in the health service. Mr Edwards added that it would be a struggle to implement the plan with the funding available, which is "not really that much extra when you look across the broad 70 years of the NHS."
