Thiruvarur by polls: Major parties violate model code in Thiruvarur

Fight for the Thiruvarur by polls is heating up. 80 cases have been booked against AIADMK, DMK and AMMK functionaries for violating the model code of conduct in Thiruvarur constituency. They were booked on the charges of involved into wall writing and pasting posters of their leaders in govt buildings. Model code of conduct has been enforced in Thiruvarur since 30th Dec in the view of by poll likely to be held 28th of this month.
