German Cyber Defense Agency Defends Handling of Data Breach

According to Reuters, Germany’s BSI cyber defense agency said that it was contacted by a lawmaker in early December about suspicious activity on their private email but could not connect this to other data breaches until this week. The agency said that they were able to connect the case to the one in 2018 by data released on a Twitter account.
