The Wall Street Journal wrote an editorial criticizing President Donald Trump’s recent remarks. According to SFGate, Trump defended the Soviet’s 1979 invasion of Afghanistan. The editorial read: “We cannot recall a more absurd misstatement of history by an American President.” The editorial then explained how the invasion was to create a communist government. Trump said the reason why Russia was in Afghanistan was because there were terrorists going into Russia.
