Progressives like Ro Khanna (D-CA) and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) have voiced strong opposition against a "pay as you go," or "paygo," rule which has been included in a rules package announced by House Democrats. The vote on the rules package is set to take place on Jan. 3.
