According to Business Insider, "Many people make New Year's resolutions, but few people actually see them through. Psychotherapist Jonathan Alpert [says there are] three... [big] reasons why our New Year's resolutions fail." The first reason is that your resolution isn't specific enough. Failure can also come from not framing your goals in a positive frame of mind. For instance, don't say "don't eat junk food" instead say "eat carrots and peanut butter.
