House Democrats will propose a two-part plan to reopen the federal government once they take over. According to Politico, their plan will only fund the Department of Homeland Security until Feb. 8. But it will fund other agencies, such as Transportation, Commerce and Agriculture, until Sept. 30. Democrats are said to vote on the plan by this Thursday, Jan. 3. But it seems that Senate Republican may still be unlikely to accept the new measures and reject it.
