Hey, today I'm going to be talking all about Facebook messenger with affiliate marketing and how to use it.
For some, strange reason I love Facebook messenger, I”m addicted to it. Maybe because you can have real conversations that are between you and 1 other person that you don't know without everyone else seeing it.
The first thing you need with messenger is a Facebook account for your affiliate business.
What I do is go to groups for my target audience, go to members and just start adding people. Maybe 30 in the morning and 30 in the evening.
Sometimes you will get a message from Facebook with some warning “like you should only add people that you know.” I just ignore that.
When you are in Facebook, and I recommend using a keyboard because it's easier you want to go up to the Facebook messenger button and click on it.
Then click on see all in Messenger. Lastly click on the gear icon on the top left and go to active contacts. This shows you everyone who is online.
Then I start messenging people with hello John, what internet job do you do? If they are an affiliate marketer, I'll ask them how there business is going?
They will either say it sucks or it's great. If they said that it sucks, then I will say I think this can help you with your business, check it out and let me know what you think and I send them to a website.
You can't send them to an affiliate offer because Facebook will not let you do that.
If there business is going great, I'll ask them if they want to make even more money with your affiliate business and if they say yes, then I will include my link.
What you don't want to do is just spam your link without talking to people or just copy and pasting some sales message. Sometimes I will get pitched and if I genuinely feel it can help my business I'll look at it and buy it.
The cool thing about messenger I like is it's easy to find your target audience due to groups. One other tip is you have to be friends with them before you message them otherwise your account will get closed. This actually happened to me.
Another thing is a little bit of friends each day and don't go crazy, otherwise your account will get closed. Yes, this has happened to me before as well.
If they say they are not an affiliate marketer, then I'll ask them if they are interested in making money online with affiliate marketing? It's that simple.
Lastly, and this is the most important part, I give myself the right to end any conversation at any time.
If someone is a jerk or whatever just go to the next person. Give it a try when it comes to generating traffic and maybe you will like it.
