KBIZ and trade ministry to provide US$ 872 bil. in 2019 to support local industries

Two government agencies plan to jointly provide funding of around 8-hundred-72 billion U.S. dollars next year to support the development of regional industries.
The trade ministry will provide 6-hundred-46 billion dollars to help nurture innovative businesses and create jobs.
The Korea Federation of SMEs will use the remaining 2-hundred-26 billion to help small and mid-sized firms.
It's the second time since last year the two sides agreed to support regional industries amid a downturn in manufacturing.
A detailed evaluation system will be fleshed out early next year.
