Chunk Of Anak Krakatau Volcano Triggered Indonesia Tsunami

Indonesian shores was recently hit by a large tsunami, killing at least 281 people and injuring hundreds. Officials and scientists said a large chunk of flank of the volcanic Anak Krakatau island triggered the tsunami. The tsunami struck almost without warning along the rim of the Sunda Strait, between the Java and Sumatra islands. According to Reuters,the volcano was spewing ash and law for months before the large chunk fell into the ocean.
