Michel continues to claim that he was being pressured by the Indian government to implicate then Congress President Sonia Gandhi and senior congress leader Ahmed Patel. He further told the CBI that he was threatened with the condition of Indian jails and was offered that the charges would be dropped if he gave a statement against Sonia Gandhi and Ahmed Patel.
