It's almost Christmas and people here in the nation are getting in the festive spirit.
Our Seo Eun-kyung is standing by at the Cheonggye Plaza where there are some dazzling displays.
But first we start by going straight to our Hong Yoo who is in Myeongdong, one of the main shopping districts in Seoul.
Yoo, I understand you're at an iconic location, whch is especially bustling with activities during this time of the year.
what's it like there at the moment?
Good evening Daniel More people are coming here to Myeong-dong Cathedral to attend the special Christmas mass to celebrate the birth of Jesus which starts at 12 midnight. And now that people are off work, they've also come to this area to do some late Christmas shopping.
In front, there's been a Christmas market open since last Saturday.
The parish is selling hand-crafted gifts, Christmas ornaments, and some snacks, with the profits being donated to those in need.
The market will be open until tomorrow.
The parish are also performing a play called "What Men Live By," which is based on the short story written by Tolstoy. It started at 8 p.m. at the Familia chapel.
If you missed the play tonight, the good news is it'll be performed on Christmas Day as well, at 2p.m and 5:30p.m.
Entrance is free so everyone can enjoy.
Tomorrow you'll also find the church choir singing carols around Myeongdong, but keep in mind there will be a lot of people in Myeongdong tomorrow since there's no school on Christmas and, for many people, no work.
Back to you and Merry Christmas Daniel.
