Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the overhaul of the school syllabus will reduce the focus on religious studies.
Speaking at his alma mater Sultan Abdul Hamid College’s annual dinner on Friday night, Dr Mahathir reiterated the importance of English as a universal language and the language of knowledge.
